Desserts That Won't Derail Your Progress

If you know or have followed me for long, you know I have a serious sweet tooth. And indulging in it all too often does cause me to lose focus and takes me off the rails a bit. So instead of making dessert taboo, I’ve focused that effort on finding sweet treats that are both nutritious and delicious. Here are some of my favorite easy-to-make desserts that everyone will love. Share in the comments below your favorite healthy sweet treat!

Cookie Dough Keto Fat Bombs

Did someone say cookie dough? Yep. My daughter makes cookies once or twice a week. And they are delicious. They taste like butter, have just the balance of crispy and chewy goodness, and use a blend of chocolate chips. Seriously the best cookies I have ever tasted. But I can’t stop at one, so this simple fat bomb is a great alternative, especially on a low carb day. With only 6 ingredients, it’s easy to make. And if you don’t do dairy, use a non-dairy butter alternative.

Overnight Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seeds are one of my favorite foods, so when I found this recipe for a simple, chocolaty, pudding I dove right in. It’s super easy to make and a great alternative to regular pudding (a guilty pleasure of mine). This overnight chocolate chia seed pudding will be your new favorite!

Salted Carmel Coconut Bliss Balls

Image and Recipe: Choosing Chia

I recently had these at a friends house and knew I’d be making them soon. You see, I LOVE salted carmel and have no willpower whenever I’m around it. So if you can give me a healthy alternative, I am all in. These salted carmel coconut bliss balls are a tiny bite of heavy. Super satisfying and with only four ingredients, anyone can quickly and easily make them.

Raw Vegan Carrot Cake Bits

Image and Recipe: Pinch of Yum

Carrot cake is a guilty pleasure of mine and because I tell myself it’s healthy — it is carrots after-all — I always overindulge. There is just something about the taste of the simple cake with a cream cheese frosting that gets me every time. But the fat and calories seriously derail even my best day. So instead of baking a cake, bake these vegan carrot cake balls. With ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen, these are quick, easy and delicious!
